SPARKIE
Got an invite to pop over to help lamp some foxes last night now the ducks are down on the shoot. So drove from derby to Crewe to go for a shine. It was one of those still nights with no wind and very slow on the bunnie front....we scanned/walked the fields for a few hours stopping in various areas and putting out the fox pro caller when all of a sudden this vixen caught us off guard she has sneaked in through the grass and came down a ditch at full blast and popped up about 40 yards in front of us at the bottom of the brow of a hill....a quick scramble with gun and sticks as she run out to about 120 yards and she stopped. Of went the tiny 20grain vmax from my .17ackley hornet and connected with her chest. I'd taken the Ackley as ginga was meant to be coming with his .22-250 but he couldn't be bothered as there's nothing to shoot lol....I think he had his cock in his socks again as Reggiegun kept saying his socks feel hard. All in all a good night out. Cheers Paul n Steve P.s Paul's pulling a face as he got close and the fox gave him a lovely kiss on the lips tongues and everything....
