Topgunners
We set up for the blackies on another new farm I acquired in the week The idea was, 2 shoot the cut field and the other one was to set up around the barns on the other new farm about 1,000 yards away. Then hopefully we could bounce them around, Unfortunately the farmer with the barns in question, and with about 800 birds on them, had forgotten he was having visitors up from the South of England. He asked me to put it off until midweek. I was gutted. Myself and Lugs set up on the edge of a spinney, under the flight-line, and Alan set up right down the other end of the field. We had some great sport all day and some terrible weather. Sunshine, clouds, peeing down rain, thunderstorms in the distance. We persevered and ended up with 76 for us and 8 for Alan (he did shoot off home after an hour or so?) 84 shot69 picked And only 1 (I think it is) pigeon. lol Good day considering the bloody rain.!!!!!!!!! pigeon controller
Well done lads in the conditions and Alan being the lightweight, hard luck with the farmer but great result. Is not all this heavy rain knocking down the barley yet?
Cranfield
Another fine result, its a pity the Game dealers don't want them. Even my Ghurka mate doesn't want corvids (he does like the occasional fox, he calls them jackals) .
robdab
Great result have you added this to the corvid total
