millrace Posted June 27, 2015 Report Share Posted June 27, 2015 Hoping for some pointers,,, looking for a castle type hotel no more than 2 hrs from cairnryan( for ferry crossing) something traditional classy and hopefully not costing the earth,,its for a wedding gift from cpl of us for best mate who is gttn hitched anyone stayed anywhere nice of late.......prob in region of 150/200 per nite as we have ferry to factor in as well ....maybe I'm hoping for to much for to little.....over to the PW massive....... scotslad Posted July 1, 2015 Report Share Posted July 1, 2015 there is a couple along the A75 around creetown area, npt an area i travel often, Kirrochtree sure other 1 was achenlaireie, some nice ones further along the coast too towards dumfries, Sandy hills Kirkbudbright areas,some real nice beaches along there that u almost get to urself.
