Davyo
14 guns required to start syndicate, this is a new syndicate on an old shoot on 2 farms ( holding & release pens in place but require a little repair)I will be running this as a DIY so some work days will be required for basic repairs to the old pens & to get the hoppers cleaned and repaired. This season it will be just rough shooting,we have a couple of large woods and a couple of copices that can be driven. Its been a bit of a rush but just had talks with the farmer this morning and next season we are looking at game strips as well as the woodland. Members will be required on a rotary basis to assist with feeding and general up keeping .£375 per season with the added bonus of plenty of pigeon/corvid decoying all year and roost shooting.I already have 2 teams of ferreters who would be more than happy if you wanted to tag alone and help out,so plenty to keep you busy all year round. Anybody interested please PM me as I will want to arrange a meet ( on the permissions )to explain what the future is and how you can get involved. Paul taylor
Good luck getting this up and running mate, should be a nice little shoot with a bit of work👍 Certainly enough pigeons and crows about from what I've seen too not to mention the pheasants already on the ground! ATB. P . T Thanks Paul, had a walk around both farms with farmer today,a lot of work to do,wish he'd told me earlier. But if I can get the guns & then sort out a action plan we could get this shoot going really well.We have the pens, & the feeders, they just need a bit of TLC.I know what you mean about the birds already on the ground especialy around that wood near the barn.Thats where the old Holding pen is,must of been about 50 along that margin this morning. Do try and get up during the harvest,we will have a night out with the NV.Guy did me a big favour today he's cut all the grass back in the areas I want to shoot tomorrow night. Davyo
I have sent PM's to those who replied, many thanks. We still have places for 5 guns and I am trying to arrange a "get together "on Sunday 23/08/15 where we will walk around both farms. The reason for this is to give an insight of what an exiting shoot this will & most importantly how you can actively get involved. Its an opportunity too bring an old shoot back to life and meet some new friends. Nobody needs to commit immediately ,let's all have a strole around and a chat and see the potential this shoot has,if you want to join then great,if not, then it's a strole out and a chat.. Ideally I would like to get all 12 guns together on 23/08/15 or groups of four over 3 weekends if 23/08/15 is no good.Look forward to meeting you all. Dave. .
