viking
From memory - put the rubber bungs in a bowl of hot water, then use washing up liquid to ease them into the holes. I expect the smut brigade along shortly. most certainly, and when they start with the smut, remember it was all your fault

ditchman
is the exhaust a bit low......do you need to chop the "u" bolts down............. and...rubber bungs...............dont push them in.........get a curved set of pliers and get hold of the "teat" and pull them thro'...as you pull it will elongate and start to narrow and it will then slide into the hole............ (why do i have to write this stuff only to be shot at .. )

Around £60 should buy you one, just look in your local paint suppliers they should stock them. Alternatively if you want I could post you mine when you are ready so saves you buying one to probably never use again.
