is the exhaust a bit low......do you need to chop the "u" bolts down.............

 

 

and...rubber bungs...............dont push them in.........get a curved set of pliers and get hold of the "teat" and pull them thro'...as you pull it will elongate and start to narrow and it will then slide into the hole............

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(why do i have to write this stuff only to be shot at .. :lol: )

think exhaust is ok, well i hope it is,

i dont know, do i need to chop U bolts down?

and i think where the bungs go in its behind a panel at the back of the dash as in there is no way of grtting to the back, i think anyway, i will check tomorrow, and if im wrong ill slap myself for talking **** :lol::lol:

 

and its the way you write it, you seem to love talking about rubber, lube, bungs, sticky stuff and flaps :lol::lol::lol::lol:

your just a wrong un, and we all know it now so you may as well carry on :good::good::good::good::good::good::good:

right "experts".......im going to (among other things) going to repaint the 90 this year in preparation of the soft top.....but this time im going to use spray...not hand paint.........i havnt acess to a compressor ...so i need an electric sander.....the type you put different pads on ...velcro stuff....one of then slow speed jobies

 

can anyone point me in the right direction for one of them...................

Around £60 should buy you one, just look in your local paint suppliers they should stock them. Alternatively if you want I could post you mine when you are ready so saves you buying one to probably never use again.

If you havnt got a compressor ditchman you not using that knapsack sprayer again are you. :lol:

thats a very kind offer....and i shall take you up on that...........i havnt got the time to prep the whole vehicle....i shall do it one panel at a time.....that way i wont be stuck ..as its my only transport...should take a couple of weeks....so i will wait for the weather to perk and give you a shout........

and i have 2 boxes of sanding pads you can have that i bought when i borrowed my brothers DA sander that i never really uses, not sure of the grit but i was told they were both right for rubbing my land rover down, spent £40 on them and used only a few of them :lol:
