la bala
The hose is called car heater ducting, and the wing vent is for sucking fresh air rather than in bonnet fumes.

Lord O War
There is , or should be, a foam cone that sticks to the side of the heater fan and goes over the grill on the wing. You can see it in the attached pic.

Looking for a rear tub carpet and there all saying defender I'm guessing it will be the same size but thought I'd check with you knowledgeable folk first. Fuji Shooter
Just buy stable matting and cut it to size unless you are after a deep **** pile
viking
not **** pile but just some normal carpet, exmoor trim do a bit for the hole of the rear tub, floor sides and rear bulkhead, its about £160 and its premium carpet, sound a bit much to me
ditchman
if you really want carpet....go to the carpet place tell them what shape you want ...they will cut it and most companies have a edge stitching machine so the edge will look pucker..... OMG, I've just seen this "old motor" of yours, I presume you were a Babyliss or Tresemme products salesman, or can I hear highlights of snip snip, "something for the weekend sir?" Is your current project to somehow rebuild your masculinity as well as a LandRover
