Caravanman
I mainly shoot corvids and favour the "John Batley" type hide,5 poles with a V shaped front and a roof. I was out with my friend who favours having his net in a straight line, tight to a hedge with the net about head night while sitting. What do you lot prefer to use? ditchman
that is exactly the set up i am using of late..........where you stand to shoot...........it is more of a blind than a hide.............

Redditch
I have mine usually 5 poles in a curve out of the hedge. Sat for birds that come over, but stand for birds that are further out. However, when alone, I often just use a one man pop up hide with built in seat, and then take 99% of the shots seated, only standing for low crossers Edited August 23, 2015 by Redditch
Stonepark
Adapted free standing, popup, erect anywhere, netting hide, crows etc will fly right up to it as long as you keep still.
