Ferretboy111
Well just thought id post a picture of a goose that has made residence with the farm geese on my shoot. Its quite pretty, been with them for around 2 or 3 days now. Anyone else seen them before? Alex

Suffolk shooter
Guys, Look carefully and you will see that there are sycamore leaves on the ground (Autumn) and last time I was over the farm, the ground was extremely muddy due to the rather large overweight Domestic geese having trampled everything flat. But still good picture. FB111 can we add that to the quarry list then if it hangs around for beaters day Right when we going lamping again, definately going to get MC to take me down the range and with a bit of luck and time and Money I'll be going for my FAC. (oops forgot to say and permission from the missus ) SS B)
Highlander
Somewhere on here there'll be mention of the one I saw on a nest last year down this way. She hatched around 6 I think but I never saw the going of her or the young uns. Think there have been a few sighted around these parts probably escapees from one or other of the local bird reserves. Don't know if they breed with other geese, most likely they do, and she's attracted to one on your shoot Bar Headed geese hold the record for the highest flying geese (maybe bird) as each year they migrate over the Himalayas/Everest. Ferretboy111
B) No sorry its not my picture. Didnt know what it was untill i researched on the net about it. Hopefully it will stay around. SS nice one, go for a .17hmr, trust me you will never ever regret it. You shall have to have a look at mine when i get some ammo for her, in comparison to a .22 its miles in front. Saying that though id love a .22 anyway. pavman
Don't know if they breed with other geese, most likely they do, and she's attracted to one on your shoot so it happens in all forms of nature B) Sounds a bit like our local gals being hoodwinked by rich Jocks, whatever blows their frock up I guess
Highlander
so it happens in all forms of nature Sounds a bit like our local gals being hoodwinked by rich Jocks, whatever blows their frock up I guess Rich Jocks my **** mostly good looks, plenty of charm and a big B) which are all sadly lacking in the local (bumpkin) population!
