I load 3 1'2" on the Lee load all with no problem. You do need a crimp finisher which you can get for about £20 nowadays

Ok cheers guys. As i am new to reloading can i use any primer ect with a type of powder? Also i have heard people talk about the hull what is it?

Planning using either alliant, hogdon or winchester powders as there whats easier for me to get hold of.

Thanks mate. Im struggling to find any data to use for the alliant steel powder. Just orderd 10k of steel shot but thats all iv orderd as it would be pointless me buying primers and wads if there not suitable or safe for the load im doing.

Which will be loads of 42gram steel #1-3.

If anyone could offer or are possably willing to share a good recipe or point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it.

Many thanks hatsan

You need to accept that for reloading shot shells you have to use the components in the recipe, you cannot swap components around. If you have the Lyman 5th Ed you will know it is repeated several times in there. If you pm me with the components you have I will see if I have a recipe, I can also tell you where to get components you don't have. If you look on Stalking Directory you will find some Loadalls for sale for not a lot of money.

Good luck.
