rabbit hunter
I went to Penrith Market (not that you will know where it is - North West England) I got goretex over-trousers in cammo for £20 and jacket with a button in fleece, complete with hood, large pockets etc... that was £30. It wasnt waterproof but I sprayed it with silicone spray. Now it holds the water, but eventually lets thru - and that takes some time. The jacket is also in cammo. I always wear the jacket with the fleece buttoned in, as when the jacket startes letting through, the fleece protects for another 1/2 hour of HEAVY rain, but with the fleece in, i only wear a t-shirt underneath, because with a jumper, even on a cold night, it gets RED HOT!!!!! Hammergun
For heavy rain, you can't beat a Barbour!
red_stag88
When your stalking you can, that "Swish..." as you move your arms to look through the bins, is gonna scare everything for a 5 mile radius!
JONO
You don't get the "swish" with their "Endurance" range of fabrics - breathable and soft but no longer as thorn proof. If I hadn't bought my Adv Timber jacket then French Para camo in goretex would be the next best thing (also have a barbour for the days when Noah is seen building a second ark - the rain is as noisier than the "swish"). About £80 for the kit but it is better than the British DPM (always remember that all military procurement goes to the lowest bidder!) But I wouldn't swap my Adv Timber jacket for any other pattern. Hammergun
Never found it a problem rabbiting in the rain - the sound of the rain drowns everything out and you can creep up close to them.

Pigeon_decoyer
I have just brought reeltree camo cothing it had trousers, shirt, jacket, hat and gloves it only cost me £150.
frank555
Really, there is a lot of c**p talked regarding cammo. A cheap jacket from an army surplus is more than adequate. Even a dark barbour, moleskins and tweeds work pretty well. - Concentrate more on tactics!! For a tenner you can get the wellies to go with it
