tignme
Ive selected a date for number four. Sunday the 18th October. Meet at 1030. 60 bird shoot followed by a two man 40 bird each flush. There will be no high gun prize as such but four scores in envelopes with one selected on day ,nearest to selected score will win a pigeon/crow floater. Second selected envelope ,same prize for second place. (two) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- As of now only two sicknotes are allowed. Johhnytheboy and Barry. I can trap but could not hear PULL. For safety reasons we shoot as one squad. The format allows guns through quickly.Ideally we need a minimum of ten guns/ two trapping and the rest shooting. Manual traps so Everybody traps and helps with rubbish etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Conditions. No alchohol before shooting. Dogs only under strict control. This is a working farm with roaming livestock. If possible double up in cars to help parking. -------------------------------------------------------------------- grrclark has volunteered to do the barbie, so i will start off with a dozen or so of venision burgers and 2 twelve pks of coke. Andra im partial to pineapple cups. LOL Theres a bistro thingy near by so might suit to order a fierce carry out. Will suss this out. -------------------------------------------------------------------- The farm is approximately 11 miles from Kilmarnock. Details when everything decided. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Just now i have four bodies promised so lets hear from you all. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Barry Edited September 22, 2015 by tignme

grrclark
Barry, if the numbers stay low then is it worth changing venue to North Ayrshire or something like that? just 4 or 5 of us will make it hard work on the day if manual trapping Maybe save this sort of day until the better weather next year where hopefully more people will be inclined to join us. Ewan
I agree a cant see the day being a susess unless the numbers are quite a big more better moving it to a clay ground if they stay low give ppl until closer to the time to see if they can make it then see where we go from there

tignme
As far as im concerned this a goer. 10 30 meet at sawerston farm. Off the 77 kilmarnock to Dumfries/mauchline road. Approaching mauchline at the 100 yd marker for 30mph take a left see (sign for clays). Follow clays signs to shoot. Barrys mobby no. 07746553744. I think we should forget the barbie idea and everyone bring own chuck. I will bring the coke as promised. Barry Possible diversion half mile in, just follow signs to crossroad and clay signs.
