YODI
Hi guys I have some general questions if I may.I have had my SGC for 9/10 years and last week applied for my FAC as it suits my needs more than my shotgun. So, how long does it actually take to get the FAC, will they visit again?I have a 4 gun cabinet with 1 shotgun in it, I assume it's okay to put my Rifle in there too, but what about the ammunition? I'm also looking at the CZ 455, I have been offered a good deal on using my S410 in PX and the reviews I have read are good? Many thanks, Yodi
Danger-Mouse
Hi guys I have some general questions if I may. I have had my SGC for 9/10 years and last week applied for my FAC as it suits my needs more than my shotgun. So, how long does it actually take to get the FAC, will they visit again? How long is a piece of string? Yes. I have a 4 gun cabinet with 1 shotgun in it, I assume it's okay to put my Rifle in there too, but what about the ammunition? You need a seperate safe for ammo/your bolt I'm also looking at the CZ 455, I have been offered a good deal on using my S410 in PX and the reviews I have read are good? saddler
Have a look around for a 2nd hand BRNO Model 2 or similar - not much to go wrong with them & just as good (or even better) than the current CZ versions For .22 rifles it's a buyers market, and they should last forever with even moderate tlc Invest the money saved in a better scope &/or more spare magazines or ammunition

activeviii
You need a lockable box, like your shotgun cabinet for your ammo. Just needs to be safe and on the fabric of the building. It dosent need to be next to the gun safe, can be anywhere. Only needed for ammo. It's advisable to put the bolt and magazines in with the ammo but not needed. All my bolts stay in rifles as I don't want them knocked aboits or going out with wrong bolt. Been there, done it.
YODI
Thanks guys, here's to hoping mine only takes 19 days. My record is clear and I have my SGC so maybe that saves them some time.I'm going to go and look at a 455 as everything I'm reading about them is good. oldypigeonpopper
Thanks guys, here's to hoping mine only takes 19 days. My record is clear and I have my SGC so maybe that saves them some time. I'm going to go and look at a 455 as everything I'm reading about them is good. hello, i have just purchased a 455 with 16 barrel and SAK mod and realy like it as my first FAC rifle. bought a hawke rimmie scope to go with, will put on my photon mk1 when clocks change. i went to a proper range to test out and get a zero at 50mtrs. if you like these hawks get the 50mm as 40 is not so special in low light. do not know anything about other rifle makes so will not comment. might take a look at a BRNO s/h. cheers
