JDog
At least PC got a few shots. Today I toured around for three hours looking for a line. I thought I had found one when I watched a line for twenty minutes and saw fifteen birds head into a barley stubble. I wandered over and pushed off thirty birds in total. None ever came back. Having given up I headed for home and no more than five miles from home I found five to six hundred pigeons feeding between two stubbles. I turned round to go to the farm only to be met by a beaters wagon heading in the direction of the field. I did not need to ask if I could go as I would have been refused for obvious reasons. So it was back to Channel 4 racing and the rugby World Cup final. The only consolation today was that I found a place that makes the best Eggs Benedict in Lincolnshire. pigeon controller
Hi JDog , that's the way it goes this time of year , we have two farms that we leave well alone until the game season finishes. But at least you got out looking and found the birds but hard luck. I read your title and thought I'd put mine in the wrong section.

I'm afraid you will have to get used to it in your new home, not in the Cotswolds now!
