Cranfield Posted April 17, 2007 Report Share Posted April 17, 2007 Why would you want to mount a scope on a shotgun, if you can't see 35 yards, you should pack up shooting. :blink: I should add that I have seen a telescopic sight mounted on a side by side , that fired slugs. Aw damnit Cranfield, I can't try and wind you up now you've added that helpful bit at the end I can see well enough I just fancy trying something different for a change Like one of those red dot or holo sights. Thing is that there isn't any rail or attachment points on the shotgun as it is. Was wondering if some attachment is available to get around this or is it a gunsmith task or just plain not possible on this gun? humperdingle Posted April 17, 2007 Report Share Posted April 17, 2007 Yeh, i've only ever seen scopes on a Slug shotgun (FAC of course) I believe Hatsan Escorts have scope rails as standard, and other bits for mounting etc, on the website. If not cable ties to the bottom of the barrel in front of the forend?? It doesn't have to be amazingly accurate as its only 35yds and obv the shotgun spreads so could always try that?
