robbiep
The daughter of a work colleague had a 2001 cherokee. Do be aware that some parts are no longer available, he spent a few weeks phoning round scrapyards trying to find some critical bit for the gearbox/transmission (I can't remember what it was, but a few of us were thoroughly hacked off by the time it was all over !) All depends on the age of the car you're looking at, of course.
casts_by_fly
A 2.5 CRD will be a KJ model, same as my 3.7 petrol. 4wd system is fantastic. I don't worry about getting stuck. Search this forum for cherokee as thee have been a lot of posts previously. Rick
walshie
2.5's are VERY susceptible to head gaskets blowing. Worth a google.
