Five gallon (25 litre?) ex thinners drum. Piece of rope for carrying, plus a cushion, in my kit bag, that I made from some high density foam, from inside two cushions I nicked from a bin, when neighbours were clearing house. The spare foam I use as a rest when zeroing my rifles. Sum cost NOWT!!! The drum is lightweight, with a nice broad base that doesn't sink in the mud, with a cushion that makes it a luxury seat for all day shooting. If it's good enough for Archie Coats it's good enough for me!

The misses ;) but if she complains to much i use i upturned bucket that also carries pigeons a treat  What i am going to try for this summer is a old cool box painted matt green with a freezer block or two in it. so not only will it be a seat but a place to keep the birds when the temp` hits 33, and keep the flys off :good:

???

No i make the whole hide out of about 20-25 bales and sheet of tin as the roof, the pigeons soon get used to it being there and its alot warmer than sitting in a ditch with a camo net ???. By the way i live on a farm so getting hold of bales isn't a problem, we usually have around 4-5 of these hides dotted around the fields especially the rape ???
