oowee
Saw the forecast but hoped for the best on my pheasant shoot. Up at 0545 drive to Barnstaple for 0900. Weather on the coast is even worse, driving rain and wind. Stand around for half an hour and drive home . Next time will be better .

Katzenjammer
The Seeland stuff works well too. I did get out today but headed for home as the clouds piled up and the rain cascaded in. I carry a poncho as well normally but forgot it today. Useful bits of kit and protects your gun and bag etc as well as self.
Scully
We managed to get round our rough shoot without rain until about 1500, by which time we'd just about finished.

OJW
I've been lucky so far, just missed it on all but one day so far this season! I really want to properly test out the gortex lining on my coat and breeks as well!

Its a Seeland coat only about 18 months old and the waterproofing has gone. I have just bought some of that fabsil gold to go over it. Expensive but if it works great. Looking at Shooterking stuff next. There must be a way to get Harkilla quality at sensible prices??
