Sean Richo
Thinking of buying one of these but will need the stock to be shortened does anybody know if this can be done on the plastic stock obviously it can on the wood version but local Gun shop only sells plastic stock version. Also anybody got one of these what do they think? Not that fussed on the Hatsan or Armsans so thought this would be another option.
figgy
I good gunsmith should be able to shorten it. You could do it yourself then glue with epoxy resin a plate inside to screw the but pad onto.
CaptainBeaky
The stock is very short anyway - I had to lengthen mine by 1 3/4" - how tall/short/short-armed are you?
remy 700
superb gun , short stock yes , but a pure killing machine , buy one.

Big Al
They are short. I had one a few years back and often regret trading it in. Great solid reliable workhorse. Cracking guns.
littlerob
There about 14 inch pull on the plastic auto I have one and have to put a honest view on things it works better than the berreta urika I had but it not nice to look at or feels as good but for a cheap auto that is 3.5inch chamber to cycle 65mm hull comp X faultlessly speaks volumes
Sean Richo
Ended up having a look at some other semi autos this afternoon new and used as didn't have time to drive to the shop that has the baikal mp for sale. Lots of choice the Franchi affinity looked a good buy £575 brand new with 7 year parts warranty the only thing was stock to long this in my opinion is the best contender to the mp153 as it looked a nice quality gun however I am going to stick with the mp153 with a wooden stock as will be able to shorten it no prob. Always nice looking at the options out there some nice used Brownings and Berretta but little bit more expensive and think I prefer new.
