Fredwalton
Whilst driving around the last few weeks I have noticed there are hardly any pigeons flying about. I'm in suffolk near Bury St Edmunds. Any else near here are anywhere really noticed the same?

Similar here too, I am about 45 minutes from you in (very) North Essex, absolutely overrun with Crows though.. fielddweller
Have a look in the woods!! It's that time of year when they disappear to feed in the woods remember they are wood pigeons. Round here they only come out if it's snow or a hard frost, doubt they will touch the rape otherwise til after crimbo. Fielddweller

dazb1967
It's the same here around tyneside, there's nothing in the fields I shoot on, I'm not sure if there will be either as there is no rape, only wheat, barley, and oats, this is only my second year on the pigeons so I need to see if the lack of rape still brings the pigeons onto the land or if they avoid it until harvest later next year.
