Graham M
Used Lapua Midas some years ago for match shooting. Very good ammo’ but left the barrel very wet and sooty had a funny smell as well . G.M.
BlaserF3
I used to use their pistol ammo years ago in my GSP it always shot well. And I remember that it did have a differant smell. Ah! happy days
Sussexboy
I have used a lot of Lapua club in my CZ varmint. It groups very well, best ever group in fact with this ammo at 25yds. 5 shots into .36 of an inch - never repeated it though I must agree with the others, it does have a strange aroma. It is usually available at a reasonable price.

MC
Used Lapua Midas some years ago for match shooting. Very good ammo’ but left the barrel very wet and sooty had a funny smell as well . G.M. I used Lapua Master for target shooting up until about 6 months ago and then I chnaged to Eley Match EPS. Lapua is OK but I don't think it is as good as Eley. I agree about the funny smell as well. badsworth
I reckon it is the best externally lubed .22 available. I dont use it because I stick with copper washed so that I can swap between subs and hi- velocity rounds , but if I used only subs I would use Lapua.
