pups progress

Recommended Posts

have been having a few of weeks away from the pest control so no 'sporting pictures I'm afraid'...just concentrating on bringing on the pups a bit over the summer, and heres a few pictures of them this lunchtime :good: ...................Harvey just 6 months (the ESS) and the grey x 5/8 3/8 grey bull cross (Lady) is now 12 weeks old..........................She has doubled in size and three weeks and I think she's going to make a 26" plus lurcher..............a bit taller than I would have liked but she'll be quick...

here they are :-

:good:

to be honest I've put alot of work into this pup and he's a really steady lad and coming on very very well as far as training is concerned.........Recall....... stay upto 200 yards..... stop n drop....... walk to heel without lead, retrieve, fetch only on command are already in place....now he's starting to hunt with his nose alot more efficiently and will enter on command....................just waiting for the nuts to drop so I can have 6 months of him completely ignoring me laugh.gif laugh.gif

Perfect rabbit team

thats the idea...................the spanny will never be a peg dog, but we use a team of lurchers on our permissions, and he be mainly used with the other ESS and terrier for bushing, and picking up, of course retrieving.

I'm looking forward to next season!!
