shakin stevens
Just been sat in a rspb hide up north, to be fair it's the best place to watch the geese come home ! Nice and dry and even a telescope! I had a read through the log and they was plenty of comments about goose shooting, " and men with dogs and decoys on strings" !! Scully
The thread you have linked to is over six years old; I read it thinking it was something which had just been posted by the RSPB.

teal27
Yes it is an old post but nothing has changed regarding goose shooting! Just thought I'd share as there is still people like this out there
fenboy
Funny thing is that you only need to read a few of the threads that have been on here to realise even people who do shoot do not know many of the laws that govern it , so its not that surprising that someone who does not shoot has no idea , being a member of the RSPB does not make them an expert on all things . I bump into a lot of twitchers when wildfowling and so far all have been very pleasant and some even take an interest in what I have been doing and how I have got on . Yes no doubt some think they know it all , but then there are some like that in our sport too !
