jon0881
Hi, The weather is poo today so i thought i would grab my business cards and go out for a drive. Target: unsuspecting farmers in yards or walking about. I dont like knocking on doors (esp on sundays) so i usually carry a few cards and stop the farmers on the entrance to field or yard. Anyhoo. i pased a really nice caravan/leisure park with a large barn on the back. I thought there might be more land than the caravan land so i popped into reception. The guy said they have problems with vermin.....result.....? He says he has a rat near reception and loads over the back. I did say i was more of a pigeon and rabbit man but he said he is going to give me a call over the rats. I should have thought on because i only have a 12g and a .22 RF and i guess they would not be happy with neither anywhere near the caravan park for obvious reasons. I can get hold of an air rifle to help this guy out but im not sure where its going to lead. /Jon

BSA Shaun
If you can get hold of an air rifle, like you have suggested, I don't see the issue Just do that
darren m
Ratting with an airrifle is great fun , especially if you can bait them first to a good position .
mel b3
it might be worth getting a couple of live catch traps (and hide them where the caravaners won't see them) , seeing you cart off live rats always seems the please landowners and you might just be able to shoot the site in winter if it shuts down. death from below
Never turn down a request for help. As already mentioned ratting is fun and good to get your eye in. It may or may not lead tob anything else. What you can be certain of is that it will def not lead to anything if you don't take up his offer. I bet once you've blasted Roland then he will mention theb bunny problem/Mr Fox etc etc. DFB
