dad
my mates rotary keeps unscrewing and falling to the ground every time he turns it on, it comes undone at the fixing where the arms attatch, when you screw it back on you can feel the drive arm turning and it wont tighten enough to stop it unscrewing, the fixing screws clockwise the rotary spins anti clockwise which makes it unscrew very easily.my rotary is the same design but a different make and it does unscrew some times in the wind when i dont have it running, i tighten up a bit more now against the drive arm and it hasnt happened lately, my drive arm doesnt move when i tighten against it. should they spin in opposite directions ? any ideas! pigeon controller
Could you try and screw lock or super glue the thread before you screw it on??

deny essex
What way does the bird spike face if its a fixed one , If its going the right direction for them then loctite or similar on the nut and re tighten. If the bird spikes are removable ones then when fixing to the arms they should be pointing in an upward direction and thats the way the rotary should go. Couple the battery leads red to battery + black to battery -, if it goes the wrong way for the bird mounts reverse the battery leads but not if using a speed controler, If a speed controler is used and you need to reverse the direction of rotation reverse the leads from the speed controler to the rotary.
