Eagleman
But don't forget the original Tasco scopes were Japanese and had very good glass. And there are still a few of them about yet.

beatingisbest
Utter counterfeit ****, you'd do better with open sights Seconded I used to have a tasco 3-9x40 and past 4-5 times it would be so foggy it would be one colour. Look at simmons or hawke for a good cheap scope
reefman
Contrary to popular belief TASCO have never actualy made a scope, the jap stuff was made by HAKO or Optical Lighthouse and branded TASO.Both excellent scope manafactures of high quality stuff. I had a 2.75 x 40 parralax adjustable one purchased new in 1984 and it was excellent I kept it for over 20 years. However TASCO were financial F&*k Wi&s and have gone bust and been resurected more times than I can remember So in a nut shell Jap stuff from the 80's GOOD Chinese stuff from then on old POO Cheap end BUSHNELL is also old poo and made in same **** chinease sweatshop. If you want a new cheap scope go AGS.Not perfect but it works.
Poacher
I have one of the original Tasco's on my .22 and its spot on, good clarity and smooth adjustments. I'm guessing its of a bit of age becuase i haven't seen anyone selling similar ones. I'd stay well clear of any the of the chinese scat you see on fleabay
