ollie
Myself and a couple of other fellas headed to County Fermanagh, Ireland just after Christmas to do a bit of walked up pheasant shooting, so here is the video. The terrain & shooting was a little different to our normal pheasant shoot, but it was a nice day out meeting new people & a change from the norm. I had 2 dogs with me which I switched half way through. So my cocker spaniel Dinky in the morning & Dawn my springer spaniel in the afternoon. We ended up with a total bag of 18 pheasants (mainly cock birds) including a couple of lovely melanistic birds & 4 crows. Please like, share & comment on the video. I would greatly appreciate some new subscribers, please see below for my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdXL__oYvbmKo0Ccm-vWRfw

Cranfield
Certainly different territory, but excellent for a walked up session. Some good shooting there and you are lucky to have two dogs that work well, they are both very keen.
Big Al
You did well even to find parts of Fermanagh still above water! As they say, for 6 months of the year the lakes are in Fermanagh. For the other 6 months, Fermanagh is in the lakes. Great dog work and shooting.

Big Al
I've swam in them in 86 when I was over there on a two year posting You are not alone. I've swum in them many times - most recently last summer. Sometimes I even do it on purpose! It is a beautiful part of the world.

Thanks Cranfield, both dogs are very different in their character. But both love being out hunting. You did well even to find parts of Fermanagh still above water! There was one place we hunted down that we had to turn & make our make back as the place was like a lake.
