On the other hand if I followed some of the other advice, I'd probably end up living in a corrosive atmosphere wich would be absolutely no good for us or the little ones. I think so long as you keep on communicating you can, over time, increase her understanding. Buy her a day out with the Shotgun & Chelsea Bun Club for a start. Lots of mummys, yummy and otherwise, shooting these days. She probably has really good reasons for feeling the way she does. The fact that you recognise this bodes well for you all. I really hope that most of their comments are just internet bravado. If their comments are real then IMO they should spend less time controlling their partner and more time controlling their children.
