STOCK EXTENSION

I've got an old Baikal 16 bore that I bought for my son when he was 14. However he's grown up and lost interest. Anyway I could do with extending the stock by about 2 inches but dont want to spend on a gunsmith as the gun only cost 80 quid. I had a look on youtube but cant find anything. Does anyone have any suggestions for a DIY solution?

How about a shock absorber recoil pad? Two jobs in one. Extends the stock and. Softens the shooting.

if its a Baikle....use a drop saw with a good blade and add a piece on yourself.....sand it to shape and put on a stained varnish....you never know you might enjoy doing it !

Thanks ditchman that is what Im thinking of doing. just wondering about howto ensure I get the lines right.

To extend the stock on one of my rifles, so that I could use it with an add on NV, I fitted a slip on rubber stock sleeve, but placed a two inch piece of wood inside it first. It may not have looked good, but it worked, and saved me from having to cut the stock.

or add 1 inch of wood/ebonite & a silvers pad on top of that........gunsmith would do for @ £100.
