Thought i'd get my butt off the sofa for a shot last night, before WelshMike calls me lazy again.

Went out about 9.15 5 mins up lane to land. Little bit of rain so stayed 10mins in truck till it stopped.

Walked up bottom of valley to right calling now and again nothing to b seen only blinking sheep.

Walked back to truck had a smoke and cuppa. Then set off other way scanning with red as i walked and calling now and again, nothing on first steep bank but sheep again, over gate nothing next bank nothing but more sheep :unhappy: . Over the next gate walked on to lump on bank on with red spotted a pair of eyes among sheep down on pod on with Archer it was just by fence with some hedge. Could not shoot could not see if sheep on next bank. Fox went through then headed up bank with tree in my line of fire. Over the hill it went on with foxpro dog bark, back he came sat on skyline. Switched to rabbit fox heads down hill then he stopped with his head and top half of body above fence, big mistake 55gr on its way nice thump down it went. Walked over to pick it up nice dog about 170y . Called for a bit nothing to b seen. Got back home out of truck dog barking field over lane was going to have a look but houses quite close. Had a cuppa off to bed then the monkey starts barking again right outside my window opened curtains there he was on footpath 30y away see him in streetlamp light.

Our hounds are around here Sat if they don't get him a 55gr will b waiting for him Sat night .
