Hendrix's rifle
Seem to be far less badgers in Gloucestershire, I hear its some sort of lead poisoning. By any chance do they also have holes appear in them from nowhere? :L
Underdog
Everything is anecdotal. Ever. Stop maligning the worm eaters, they're cute'n cuddly. I love the way the frollop across the fields, like a little squidgely wigdeley fluffy puffy fing wiv legs. And the population hasn't exploded. I only ever count 20 or 30 out the back when I look at night. Funny though, I think those wicked farmers have sprayed the crops with nasty icky chemicals or something, as I haven't seen a hedgehog for yonks? Perhaps they migrate? Lol 😂
Redgum
Three years of trapping and shooting seems to have made its mark with NFU claiming less bTb, and more hedgehogs in Gloucestershire. Regardless of the badger cull they remain a protected species yet it amazes me that people get so passionate about old brock and not about Mr Fox, Mr Badger is capable of doing just as much damage. In my experience the badgers up here do more damage and there's a lot of them. Wouldn't be surprised if I saw 10 different badgers in a night on 50 acres... activeviii
I also blame the badge for all the flooding. they eat all the earthworms and the earth now has less holes and tunnels so the water can't drain off. Gloucestershire use to really flood bad this time of year, so far, this year its not 3/5th better.

Benthejockey
They're nothing but thieves! Run one over in your car and they nick bits off it. Seems they've upped their game to grave robbing now though.
