saddler Posted February 9, 2016 Report Share Posted February 9, 2016 (edited) What weight slugs are you making and what powder are you using with them plzApprox 525gr Unique 20gr OR Herco 22gr LOAD DATA FOR INFORMATION PURPOSE ONLY Run them through a pump so low power levels but quite accurate....not eenough whack to reliably cycle a semi auto. Aye - the Lyman Sabot slug Don't know of any other design of slug that was specifically made for target shooting - most are aimed at hunters & the police; though I also see reviews, where such things are allowed, that the sabot design is quite effective as a hunting projectile at more moderate distances (but more than likely sent through a rifled barrel, which would class a pump/semi here as a Section 5 banned item) Having fired a factory Police spec. slug at one match as I ran out of ammo on one stage, I can say that there IS a bit of a noticeable difference Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
