sishyplops
Hi all I have a very slight built lad who's 9 in the summer and I have bought a 686 26" 20 bore but it's still quite heavy for him, too heavy in fact, so I'm looking for an o/u junior .410, does anyone have experience of the Webley and Scott or yilditz guns Thanks

Westley
Yildiz for me too, 28 bore with 2 stocks, 1 shortened and 1 standard. Just a point, the S x S guns are lighter again than the O/U. The younger Grandson is 9 and is using a Webley .410 with a shortened stock, but it is not the easiest of guns for a youngster to use. The older lad is 12 and he is shooting the 28 bore off his left shoulder with 16 gram cartridges. It will not be too long before the 9 year old is also using the 28 bore. I am not a fan of the .410 in the hands of a youngster anyway and think the 28 bore the better gun.
