Scully
Spotted this on the same link. http://basc.org.uk/blog/press-releases/latest-news/police-commissioner-gets-firearms-licensing-wrong/ Well said, BASC Yes indeed; credit where it's due. I was going to mention this one but I seem to be getting quite a few emails and this one was overlooked. I have also received one regarding a 'push' to place antique firearms on license also. Pathetic. We must be the laughing stock of the free world. Edited February 23, 2016 by Scully
ordnance
Nothing new. A police force has been fined £40,000 after one of its firearms instructors accidentally shot a civilian colleague during a gun tutorial. PC David Micklethwaite, who had failed a shooting training course, mistakenly loaded a powerful Magnum .44 revolver with a live round from an old Quality Street tin. The 52-year-old then pulled the trigger while pointing it at a civilian colleague during one of his classroom tutorials.
digger
a link to something that happened in 2007 to clarify in case anyone thinks it happened recently. Linked to an accidental shooting in a different country.
