Les53
Beware of the man who has only one gun "he is probably a good shot ." Harnser Mmm....I've heard this before.......but in my case............
ChrisAsh
Most find little need for multi choke maybe better to just open both up to whatever fits your shooting needs and then reconsider after a couple of years, don't forget each and every cartridge make / type will offer a different pattern, some big difference some minor you just need to experiment at a patent plate
buze
would only do if not happy with them as they are?..certainly dont think it adds value, but as you are keeping does it make them shoot better is only criteria and you won't know that til you've shot them a bit......never tinker for tinkers sake.... Well the 425 has a neoprene comb raiser already. I don't think it's a super idea for the long term to keep that on, as it'll trap moisture for example. For the multi-choke, it's just a question of being able to use the gun for other purpose than clays; perhaps I'd take it on a game day, or yes, perhaps try my hand at skeet at some point. margun
Today's contribution to gun porn/grot was supposed to be a picture of my new rifle. Can't compress the photo for some reason, but will follow up. New outfit in the house, my joint 30th and forthcoming wedding pressie to myself, which I'm really rather chuffed with: Sako 85 hunter laminate stainless .308 A-Tec moderator Schmidt and Bender 8x56 Klassik Hungarian Optilock rings and stainless bases Maremmano sling (v. nice) Now for a couple of end of season cull does with any luck and a rare bit of straight shooting ;-) Edited March 4, 2016 by margun
figgy
I think in future teagued guns will be worth less as unmolested B25 guns will become rare to find and fetch high prices if totally original.

I think in future teagued guns will be worth less as unmolested B25 guns will become rare to find and fetch high prices if totally original. I'm starting to reach that conclusion actually... I'm likely to keep it as is now, and just buy another gun for when I want to shoot wider chokes...
figgy
Try patterning some different cartridges as your cartridge choice can give as different a pattern as changing choke. Try some bior wad carts like hull pro piston and some fiber wads as some fiber open right out quickly. Shot size also plays a part a fiber was 9 shot would be ok out to a good distance. buze
Well, reviving this as it somehow lacks pictures of other people guns they got and what to show off! :-) I've decided not to touch the B25 at all and keep it as my main clay gun as it is; so I'll be on the market for a game gun in the next few months! The Mrs 425 is out to be modded with a tunable comb, as we decided the neoprene one was not a good long term fit -- makes cleaning the gun awkward as well; it's still pretty good for doing gun fitting, so it was well worth the 25 quid or so! We're being lent a Benneli 828U this sunday for a shoot, mostly to see if Mrs can shoot it with Comp X 21g -- But I'll definitely will have a go at it as well, it looks interesting! Will Poon
Buze, i think the lack of pictures of our guns is usually to do with a security point of view as this is a public forum for all to see.

Les*1066
They are lovely guns - it's easy to see why you're so chuffed with yourself!
