busa2003
Evening all, Has anyone had any experience with this model? Rather tempted but wanted some first hand opinions. Cheers
ElvisThePelvis
I have One in field guise, it's superb, really couldn't fault it and at a third of the price of EELL classic that my friend bought at the same time it feels like a bargain. BerettaSV10
Personally I won't touch modern Beretta's, had several modern new breed Beretta's and they have all broke or had problems.

busa2003
Suggestions? Must have a narrow game rib in 12g flavour
ElvisThePelvis
I have two modern Berettas which have functioned flawlessly, don't believe all the Beretta bashing (none of my friends have had any problems with Beretta either), by contrast everyone i know that has bought a Browning 725 has had huge problems. jason kaye
I have a Silver Pigeon 1( game) 28" m/c with upgraded wood, I know it's not a 690, but I can't fault it at all.
Rem223
I have one, its a lovely gun, but I haven't shot it enough to pass judgement on reliability.
Dunkield
Suggestions? Must have a narrow game rib in 12g flavour You can get 687 field that had a game rib
Nmb
Tried one and really liked it! Deffinately something I'd consider buying! Know plenty of people in our shoot who have modern berretas and have had no issues. Still like my two 80's versions though!
JRDS
I have one, they are very nicely made certainly nicer than some of the new 'basic model' Berettas (I also own an old 687 20 bore for comparison). It handles superbly, I would recommend one plus they come with a warranty should the worst happen. The older Beretta's are very well made also but may lack 3 inch chambers if you shoot Wildfowl or Foxes and decent length stocks.
