Hi guys,

a plea from another welshman here :good: ... I'm working up in Norwich for the next 5 months and was wondering if there's anyone around doing any pest control etc in the Norwich area who'd be willing to accomodate me on their outings as I'm missing me shooting and need to get out into the fields..

Can't recommend any pest control, but if clays will provide sufficient entertainment, I'd recommend Mike Reynolds' Mid Norfolk Shooting School, in Taverham, 20 mins West of Norwich up the A1067. It's a good ground, and worth a look. I shot there for many years, and the place is good value.

.......or Churchills of Dereham gunshop used to hold a 40/50 bird sporting last Sunday of the month near Swanton Morley.

Langhams do a clay shoot (skeet) on tues nights near Ormsby rare breeds centre, this is about the nearest I can think of to you, I stopped going cause I cant hit clays either B)

I work just 20 mins from Norwich and will point you in the right direction of the skeet if required.

Good little shoot. It's easy to find. Go out on the Fakenham road to Bawdeswell and take the Swanton Morley road for half a mile and it's on the right hand side of the road. As NB says they are held on the last Sunday on the month. Kick off is at 10am.I went in March and shot like a hero B) :D:lol::lol:

Phone Steve at the shop for more details at: Churchills of Dereham

There is a new gunshop opened in Nelson Street in Norwich. It's called Nelson's of Norwich I think. They are good lads in there and one of them runs a small clay shoot at Postwick (pronounced "Posick"),near Brundall, every Sunday. If you call in and ask them I'm sure you'd be welcome. Make sure you pop in to the "Fat Cat" pub which is 50 yards down the road and serves great real ale. Even Brains and Felinfoel as guest beers. :good:

I'm in a small syndicate that shoots in Norfolk and Suffolk. We shoot a few pigeons and bits and pieces usually after harvest as the keepers are funny about too much shotty work this time of year because of the deer.

Hope this helps a bit.
