roadkill
do i need to scarify it ? No kids or dogs go near it
felly100
Don't scarify a new lawn. If you feel it's compacted, stick a border fork in it a good few times to give it some air.
Vince Green
dont cut it to short +1 Plus a bit of weed and feed now and again and you should be fine. Cutting too short is the big lawn wrecker.
Medic1281
My lawn has got leatherjacket grubs in it. What is the best thing to use to get rid of them? Someone thought I had chafer grubs too, can both these be killed with a single treatment?

Medic1281
Got hundreds of crows on the field behind us, but they aren't coming onto the lawn. Probably indicates the infestation there! Just ordered some nemasys to give it a go. The lawn looked awful last autumn but was advised not to treat until spring time. Seeing as the crows are busy picking the grubs they must be close enough to the surface to treat now.
