Ear defenders

Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your mindset) there is nothing in my life so important that it cannot wait for an hour or two while I kill some clays.

That is most fortunate. I just have my man servant follow me around with my phone on a silver platter.

Actually *I* posted that review :-)

They do pick up phones, but really it's not too bad; and more often than not, I'll leave my phone in the car anyway while shooting so it's no problem.

And to add to the previous poster, I still haven't changed the batteries in mine, from last november (and I use them a lot!) I just keep a pair of AAA in the jacket just in case...

As a side note, I've just ordered another pair of these defenders, as a backup...

I use these ear defenders too. Excellent at the price. I did once get phone interference on them ... from my own phone while I was using it. Never at any other time.
