TONY R
Is your army and navy a 2 .5 inch gun, if it is you are restricted to cartridges of that length. hull cartridge three crowns are a genuine 2.5 inch load with decent performance. guzzicat
Yes Traditional "2.5, proofed at 1oz,nice bit of kit
TONY R
Well you will need 2.5 inch ammo 65 to 67mm cases. The three crowns will probably suit you, 15 16ths though not 1 oz, lylevale do a 1 oz 2.5 i think.

busbiter
I rate Hull High Phesant 28gram and Lyalvale 25gram, not such a fan of the Gamebore Traditional Game and Eley VIP kick hard even in 26.5gram. If you can get hold of them, Rottweil Special 16F are fantastic. Got a stack load of Grand Prix and also various gunshop brands in 16g also from over the years and Hymax and Alphamax in 32gram. Like you steve, always like a visit to a gunshop to see if they have any 'different' 16g cartridges in stock. What were the french cartridges you got?
