Royboy
I've got a slight problem with my lab, when out walking him and we come across another dog he always growls !! He's got the best temperament you could ask for with people but for some reason his heckles come up and growls at dogs only not bitches ! It's embarrassing, any ideas what I can do ? JDog
How old is the Lab? He may need more socializing off the lead and more contact with other dogs in a neutral environment. What with that dog and a spaniel which wants to sleep in your bed you have some problems.
Royboy
Haha I've got lots of problems, My lovely new turf wrecked by them is just another !!! The lab is 18months old, it's a shame because he's such a good natured dog with anything else
spinach
Does he growl when off the lead when other dogs appear?
Royboy
Yes if a dog walks past my house heckles up and deep growl, sounds like a lion ha. It doesn't bother me loads but you find people get the wrong impression and don't like it
bigbird
Personally I'm a bit sceptical of this sort of thing but perhaps worth a read, OP? https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=982751765142300&id=184473848303433&ref=m_notif¬if_t=feed_comment_reply
