Sambaker1993
Has anyone had experience shooting over spring oats and when is it the pigeon feed on it most?

Wilts#Dave
Short answer is they don't, generally! Only time I've had some good shooting is when they've gone down very flat prior to harvest, others have no doubt had more success but lots of spring oats drilled on our patch last year and didn't see pigeons on any of it from drilling to srubble. aga man
Never had pigeons on Oats round this area, but corvids can be a real problem when the ripening crop gets knocked down by wind and rain at harvest time.
Sambaker1993
So it looks like just harvest time then and what about beans are they the same? Had 28 over the course of drilling but that's it? Is that harvest time too?
