Cyber
Can I ask why you have mounted the lamp on the bipod please?? Surely it would be better on the top of the scope as at diferent distances the beam is going to alter alot more than it would if it was on top of the scope? correct me if I am wrong? If and when you decide to move up into more powerful rifles with a excellant light gathering scope mounted and a large T8 sound mod on the end you'll soon realise that the sight image soon becomes obscured because of light reflecting back off the rear of the Mod when out solo and operating under the light of a Lamp that is mounted on the scope . The photo showing the beam placement is ideal and no adjustment in the field is required . Thanks for jumping in Naddan

deadeye ive
Mike I did'nt go to that expense but I did try a homemade version on the schmidt albeit not as long as your 2 shades put together and that did'nt work either .,mind you it was worthy of a Blue peter badge if nothing else Believe it or not the photo does an injustice because it's very practicable when out in the field

Is that the Remington because if it's the HMR your refering to make sure you blow out the baffles with compressed air to remove all that unburnt powder .If you don't there is a high risk of the muzzle blast from a .223 igniting it for you
