Jrollsons
Hi everyone, Ive just found out from my local firearms department that there is going to be a 12 week wait until I hear anything from them regarding the grant of a SGC. While I wait for this what are my options for continuing to improve my shooting? I can continue to have private lessons and I can book some 50 clay sessions which are normally with stag parties. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Kind regards, Jrollsons
BrowningB525
Where are you based? You should be able to be escorted by coaches etc at local clay shoots.
Gordon R
Get yourself along to your local club. Shooters are the most helpful bunch of people you could wish to meet. They will sort you out.
fortune
Hi everyone, Ive just found out from my local firearms department that there is going to be a 12 week wait until I hear anything from them regarding the grant of a SGC. You might be lucky. have a read/search for >> Waiting times. It depends on which county you are in. Some people have been waiting over a year. My co term sgc and fac renewal took over 8 months While I wait for this what are my options for continuing to improve my shooting? I can continue to have private lessons and I can book some 50 clay sessions which are normally with stag parties. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Get a mate with an sgc and go to your local clay ground or just have a word with them and shoot under supervision. Shooters are a friendly bunch and will help you. you don't have to pay for lessons really unless you just cant hit them. just go and shoot the lead and enjoy shooting for the fun of it. Get insurance. there is loads out there from people like ccc3 for about £30 Kind regards, Jrollsons
