figgy
Just use a pellet head to resize and shape the skirt, it's what I do and have for decades.
pestbry
accupels use the domed head to resize the skirt ? is that what you mean figgy ?
figgy
Yes any domed head pellet, the head will reshape and size the skirt. Place one pellet on a flat surface and hold the head of bent pellet and press the skirt over the head and roll it around untill it's shaped and size you want. robbiep
Before you bother, try loading a magazine full of the out-of-shape ones, take it outside and see how they group. If you've never noticed beforehand, then it's unlikely to have much effect once the loading bolt has pushed the pellet into place, and once the pressre going down the barrel has forced the soft lead into the rifling. Was told exactly that yesterday by a chap up the gunshop. I was moaning about the damaged skirts on 22 diablolo fields and he said that they fired damaged ones on their range and all grouped well. bruno22rf
I agree with robbiep, nothing that the angry side of 2500psi will not sort out.
