tikkamark
Hello lads i have plenty of experience with centrefires and rimfires but have no clue when it comes to air rifles i would like to buy a pre charged air rifle for shooting magpies and hooded crows around my house but the hmr is a bit to powerful for this I would be prepared to spend a good bit one a good one.Are pre charged guns all set on the same power levels or are some more powerful than others? From what i have read logun rifles seem to be fairly top notch.Any advice would be much welcome
Cyber
I'm not just saying this because I am selling mine, but if you are prepared to pay money for a ggod one then you won't go wrong with Daystate. I have my X2 for sale (see sig for link) and it is absolutely cracking! accuracy is second to none, I done think ive ever had a group bigger than my thumbnail with it and most 5-10 shot groups are the size of my fingernail at 30 yards. It is also full legal power. takes down rabbits, rats, crows, maggies easily.... oh and if you are not sure about daystates then ask around, as I have never seen a bad review. (It is a 10-shot aswell )

naddan28
theoben's are good as well but if not go with the other 3! As for AA S410 they do a Xtra FAC version which has a adjustable power wheel, runs up to 35ftlbs.

He is also a very good shot, can shoot through polo's with it in .20 at around 50yds
08shooter
35 ft lbs will give you a range of out to 90 ms as stated, possibly further,i don t class myself as a great shot but 50 to 70 ms no probs ,im actually going back to 26 ft lbs

SNAKEBITE
The best thing to do is to get yourself down to a shop, club or have a look at friends guns. "What is the best gun?" is going to get you 125 answers from 100 people! The best thing is to make your own mind up for yourself because to be honest there are not many bad guns on sale at the moment. Pick a budget and try it for size, having a gun that fits is better than having a "fashionable" one that doesn't.
