janeplace Posted July 14, 2016 Report Share Posted July 14, 2016 Hi I have just sent my rifle off for service and new seals he has found the barrel and trigger mechanism to be very rusty and needs to replace both parts !! service was £90 + £200 for replacement parts , says the gun is worth £350 to sell done . bruno22rf Posted July 14, 2016 Report Share Posted July 14, 2016 Someone's having a laugh with you - why would any trigger parts need replacing because of rust? soak them on oil then clean off and refit - as for the barrel - polish the metal down (fit it into an electric drill) and reblue it yourself or get a smith to do it for you ( give barrelblacker on this forum a pm and ask how much to do an airgun barrel - not much I'm sure).
