panoma1
So in the absence of any evidence one way or the other the RSPB are blaming shooting interests! Last Eagle went off the radar on July 2.... It is now Aug 14...........and the eve of the Grouse shooting season.....why have they waited more than a month to publicise this?............coincidence?.....I think not! In the absence of any evidence...........It's all designed by the RSPB to mislead and to emotionally inflame public opinion against shooting. Same tactics they tried to use to mislead the government into banning lead ammunition!!

old man
Surely the download info from the tags will give a more local fix on the areas of disappearances? Looks suspiciously like the usual smoke and mirror tactics these organisations employ to further their objectives?
scotslad
Be intresting to see the data and age of the 'missing' eagles, at 2 yrs okd the natural mortality rate woll still be fairly high, generally young eagles have quite a low survival rate up intil around that age. If all the eagles where of a similar age or younger it would be less likely it is due to human interference Also fails to mention how many other eagles are in that area, eagles really are not that rare anymore and some areas could be approaching capacity, esp with the release of the White Tailed Sea Eagle, which are also becoming failry cpmmon now in some areas and could lead to competition between the2 for food or even nesting sites Just typical BS from the antis and alleged 'conservationists. I remember a few years ago the released an article about a suspected dead HH, they allegedly found the bird in March but took them till Aug the 11th to release their press statement. It was also found a fair bit away from any keepered ground althou near enough to cast asspiritions
