bunny_blaster
So my usual pigeon disposal man has vacated the country for a month which means I have no way of getting rid of my birds at present. Im not one for shooting birds and just dumping them so big bags are out the question. I was away last weekend so I was desperate to get out this weekend and have a shot. After sorting a few jobs out on Saturday morning the wind was too good not to try find some birds on a flight line to have a go at with my new .410. I headed to a farm close to home and found a good line coming over a large wood. These birds where flighting high and fast to a farm I don't have permission on in the far distance. I stood amongst some old farm machinery and had a excellent hours shooting. I fired a total of 32 shots for my 10 birds which isn't the best kill ratio but these birds where seriously challenging for a .410. I now have 2 chest freezers running temporarily so will be back out this weekend in the search for a decent bag on the stubbles. maxwell
You probably would have done well to get those birds with a 12 never mind a 410, good shooting mate
pigeon controller
Well done Ben , good result for a short session with a .410.Have you seen many " Butterfly Shooters" I've had to calls while I'm away with farmers asking if I will be shooting as others want to shoot the stubbles. I went and had a drive about the shire on Sunday and saw 4 unknown vehicles, all shooting on the stubbles. Pretty sure I saw your "mate" in his suzuki driving past the gun shop as well

JDog
You must be an ace shot with that little gun. It would have been interesting to see you in action with Agaman and I yesterday.
