HunterFarmer
Any tips and tricks to make a wild hunter crow call sound more realistic. Thanks
steve_b_wales
I've never tried this make of call, but most Crow callers work best if you make a 'grrr' sound when blowing into it. It should produce a more raspier sound.

WelshMike
Just be careful with regards to electronic calls as it is illegal to call in corvids to shoot with such calls.

Thats always the bit I struggle with as well mate. Out of all the shooting I do a good day on the corvids takes some beating in my opinion. I hadnt realised your shooting was so bad you need to catch them with a net then shoot them

WelshMike
You're fair cheeky! Sire they are still going to jump around in the net I'll probably still miss! Sorry bud, couldnt resist. I only really got into shooting corvids last year when I took on a couple of new farms. Lot of trial and error but some cracking results along the way. Managed my first century last year which was brilliant and ended the year with just over 1600 shot. My tips (for what they are worth): Get a good hide set up, keep movement to a minimum until the last minute, get a good pattern of full bodies decoys with a nice clear landing zone and most importantly ...enjoy yourself

That's some great results! Yes a hide would help! Only started shooting this year really! Hopefully I'll get a century bag someday! Thanks for the advice I'll try and keep it in my mind!
