Spewy
Ok been shooting clays only a few times I always shoot gun mounted Now I have been practicing my gun mount most days and infront of the mirror When I try it at clays I was told I'm just snap shooting at target It's frustrating me and I'm not hitting the clays So is this because I'm too eager and not fluent I'm also mounting in house and following the cornice in the room Stewart
Gordon R
Bit like a golf swing, you have to follow through even after you think you have hit it.
Westley
Are you sure that you are mounting the gun correctly and consistently though ? Without seeing you mounting the gun, it is impossible for someone to spot the error/errors, if there are any.
Spewy
Think the mount is ok Just struggle for following the clay passing and pulling trigger I'm Seing clay and rushing to try and hit the clay
Smokersmith
Give it time .... moving your muzzle at the same speed as the clay (not literally) will help "slow things down". Perhaps you could also start with an incomer or something where you don't have to move that much to be effective. If you google Gill Ash and his torch routine, that will help.
